Who says you have to be a professional hair stylist to blowout hair like a pro. If you equip yourself with the right hair tools for the job you will be able to give yourself a blowout at home just like you would get in the salon. Using a high quality blow dryer will give you better results. Professional blow dryers are built to last for years. I have had some of my hair dryers for over 6 years and they are still going strong.
So whether you’re a professional stylist or a self made blowout queen who styles their hair at home, having the right tools will help you achieve the blowout of your dreams.
Twin Turbo 3500
This hair dryer kicks butt. It has a powerful airflow which helps dry hair quicker and seals down the cuticle. Sealing your cuticle is important because this is what makes hair smooth and adds shine. This blow dryer has 2000 watts, 4 temperature setting, 2 speed setting and a cool shot. If your looking to set yourself up like a professional stylist this hair dryer will get you there. And if you’re a professional hair stylist looking for a new hair dryer to blowout your clients fast; with long lasting beautiful results; give the blow dryer a try. 2 concentrator nozzles included.
This hair dryer has blown out some of the smoothes blowouts I have even done. Packed with 1900 watts, this blow dryer is fast and powerful. Like most professional hair dryers the Parlux has 2 speed settings, 4 temperature settings and includes 2 concentrator nozzles . Get the power of a professional with the Parlux.
GHD Hair Elite
This is such a cool hair dryer. It’s equipped with a new technology that shift the weight of the motor when you switch the blow dryer on to give it impeccable balance and makes it super lightweight. It’s really cool. 1875 watts which is perfect for a strong hair flow and fast drying time. The GHD elite has 3 temperature settings and 2 speed setting. This is definitely one of my new favorite hair dryers.
The Sam Villa Hair Dryer
Not only is Sam Villa an amazing hair stylist he has created amazing styling tools. This hair dryer weighs less than a pound which makes it easy to blowout clients hair all day or to use one yourself without your arms getting tired. It has a lower wattage than I would recommend coming in at only 1750 watts but… this hair dryer has a patented technology that still gives a super strong airflow while using less wattage so it doesn’t draining too much power. So in this case this lower wattage works to create a smooth, shiny sleek blowout. Thumbs up to being energy efficient yet still powerful.
Twin Turbo hair dryers are in my top of favorite hair dryers. They make a lot of different hair dryers and I’m always pleased with their performance. This hair dryer has a little bit of a long nozzle compared to it’s sister hair dryer the twinturbo 3500 I talked about earlier in this post. It’s all in personal preference on how long you prefer your nozzle. I suggest if your new to blowing out your hair to stick with a longer nozzle. If your a hairstylist either size will do. This blow dryer only weighs 2.24 pounds which makes it easy to hold and maneuver. One thing I really love about this hair dryer is it’s super quiet. That’s a plus if your in a salon doing blowouts all day. It makes it easier to hear your clients and the music.
What To Look For In A Professional Hair Dryer
Here are a few things to make sure the hair dryer you’re going to purchase have to give you the best result.
- Comes with a concentrator nozzle.
- Different temperature and speeding settings.
- 1875 Watts or higher – Unless the hair dryer’s technology is specific for a lower wattage to give the proper performance.
- It’s a professional dryer. There’s a big difference between your drug store hair dryer like a Conair and a professional hair dryer.
- Stay away from Cheap Hair dryers, they are cheap for a reason – They don’t work and will damage your hair.
